Very good alternative to ice baths

I actually tried making one of these myself but I couldn’t get it to stay up without falling in my head. The cold water doesn’t get cold enough here, especially in summer. I was doing ice baths for a while but it has become too much effort. The ice shower is a really simple alternative. It’s not exactly the same benefits, but it’s a great alternative.

Will it fit my shower? What if I don't have two side-walls?

We've designed the Arctic to fit all different shower types (even if you have a shower rod or no side wall).

If you have a shower rod, one of the straps will wrap around the rod and clip into the buckle on the other end of the strap.

If you only have one side wall and one back wall, the Arctic can be set up diagonally between both walls and still sit directly under your shower head.

The Arcitc suits all different types of shower heads.

The only showers it won't fit are those that have walls very far away from the shower head. Eg if your shower head is more than a metre away from your walls, which is very rare.  

Are the suction stickers reusable?

The stickers are reusable, but you'll get much more longevity out of them if you leave them in place rather than trying to take them off. We’ve included an extra pair if you’d like to use them elsewhere.If you want to remove or reuse the stickers, just use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive area for several minutes and it will make it easy to remove and won’t leave any glue residue. Then dry them and use again.

Can you use the suction stickers on any surface?

The suction stickers can be used on a variety of surfaces like smooth tile, glass, mirror, wood, metal surface and so on. Just peel off the protective film and then stick to a clean surface.

How much ice does the Ice Shower hold?

The Ice Shower has a spacious design that can hold 2+ kg (4.4+ lbs) of ice. This generous capacity ensures you can enjoy a refreshing ice-cold shower experience without the need for frequent refills.

Isn’t taking a regular cold shower cold enough?

Research indicates that colder temperatures, such as those achieved with ice cold therapy, have more significant physiological effects compared to lukewarm or moderately cold temperatures. Ice cold therapy triggers vasoconstriction, which reduces inflammation, enhances recovery, and boosts blood circulation. Additionally, the intense cold prompts a higher caloric burn, releases endorphins, and provides a more invigorating experience.However, the average water temperature in homes around the world falls short of the cold temperatures required to fully benefit from cold water therapy. Typically ranging from 50°F (10°C) to 70°F (21°C). However, to fully benefit from cold therapy, the water temperature should ideally be between 30°F (1°C) to 45°F (6°C).
